We knew that our beloved cottage needed some major work, but with a 300+ year old property we really didn’t know where to start. After receiving a number of quotes we chose A1 Complete Builders because of their experience, direct approach and expertise. With a limited budget we were keen to engage a company that we could trust. We needed accurate quotes and a realistic view of what we should and shouldn’t attempt to do.

In the end the job was much bigger than expected, but A1 held our hands (at times literally) throughout the process, When we discovered that the roof needed replacing, they gave us several practical options of how we could proceed, and allowed us to take our time to figure everything out. The team were a delight to work with, turning up when they said they would and were extremely responsive to feedback.
The job consisted of re-rendering the outside of the cottage and replacing the roof. We’re delighted with the end results and the plasterwork and lime render is beautiful. We would always recommend Keith and his team and we’re about to commission some further work. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
