At A1 Complete Builders, our Miscellaneous Work service covers those essential odd jobs, one-off repairs and specialist tasks that don’t always fall into standard categories — but still make a big difference to your property’s appearance, safety and longevity. From small masonry repairs, pointing and repointing, to patching up brickwork, replacing or fixing external timber, sealing leaks, installing gates, or adding decorative architectural features — no job is too minor.
We understand that every detail matters: ensuring secure fixings, weather-tight seals, correct materials and finishes to match your existing building. Our team brings expertise to assess the work needed, supply or source quality materials and deliver reliable workmanship, often with minimal disruption. Whether it’s reactive maintenance or proactively preserving your home’s condition, we work promptly, competently and carefully.
With A1 Complete Builders’ Miscellaneous Work service, you’ll have peace of mind that even the smallest tasks are handled with the same commitment to quality, durability and finish as our major projects.

A1 Complete Builders have been recommended by Mr Phil Northey of Tecbuild to undertake some remedial works to a damp property.
Surface condensation is by far the most frequently encountered form of dampness in buildings and generally it is the most easily recognised with visual signs of mould grown in the main living room and solid walls construction. The temperature at which air can no longer hold excess water vapour is know as the Dew Point, surface condensation is thus formed when moist laden air comes into contact with cold surfaces which then becomes cooled. If cooled far enough it reaches the dew point temperature and the water vapour is released as condensation and associated black mould growth. Therefore, remedial works will have to be carried out IWI Insulation on living room walls (Isotherm or Marmox Board) and re-skim plus decoration on Anti-mould emulsion, installation of a Positive Input Ventilation (PVP) into the existing loft space and the use of Dryseal Water Repellence on existing stone/render from wall externally.
Result is NO MORE BLACK MOULD!
