Keith and the team at A1 have been brilliant from start to finish! Communication has always been a real strength of both Keith and his team and I have always felt up-to-date with work progress from both Keith but also the guys working on site, all of whom have been really great.

A detailed schedule of work and costings were provided from the outset and this was for the most part kept to and if necessary, updated. Any potential changes to work schedules and costings were always well communicated to me before hand from both Abbie and Keith and all the options were well presented so I could make informed decisions.

The quality of work I have seen from the team has been excellent and we are now living in a wonderful newly renovated cottage which maintains the charm that it has held in the past as well as being a comfortable place to live in for the future. In particular, the fixes made to the previously deteriorating cob work as well as the lime rendering finish have been carefully and painstakingly completed to an extremely high standard, and one in which we are very happy with.

This has been a complete renovation from a very dated and in some parts unstable farm cottage. Keith and his team have all worked tirelessly to help turn into our home which we now thoroughly enjoy living in. We would 100% recommend A1 Complete builders.

I will take this opportunity to say thank you to you Keith and so you Abbie and also the rest of the team. If we do this sort of thing again, which I think we will, you will be the first port of call!

A1 Complete Builders worked on my property, a 200 year-old Georgian terraced cottage, to install a shower room and build an extension for a kitchen and utility room using part of the back yard. They worked from October 2021 to March 2022 during which time it was necessary for me to vacate my home. At no time was I concerned about the safety and security of the house.

The building work was not without problems, but Keith Pascoe, the principal was determined to overcome the difficulties and together with his workmen and specialists the job was completed to my full satisfaction and delight.

All those working in my house and backyard were always polite, hardworking, considerate and respected my property. At the end of the contract my house and yard were made good, tidied and cleaned, ready for me to return to my home.

I have absolutely no hesitation is recommending A1 Complete Builders for any work, particularly on old and historic buildings.

Keith and his team have just finished a top-to-toe renovation of our old Georgian rectory in Cornwall. Re-plumbed, re-wired, all new bathrooms and kitchen, re decorated throughout, new sash windows, and extensive re-plastering were all done to the very highest standard. The project was finished on budget and to time.

The building is Grade II listed and Keith’s knowledge of traditional building techniques (and affection for period buildings) was vital. His team of specialists trades are all top quality and delightful to work with as, of course, is Keith. Keith clearly takes huge pride in his work and this is borne out in the results. I couldn’t recommend A1 Complete Builders highly enough. Many thanks to the whole team.

Keith and A 1 are excellent, efficient, careful builders, who have converted and maintained my three apartments in St Ives. Keith takes a good approach to his work - listening to what the client wants - bringing his own expertise to the task and making the whole building/maintaining experience straightforward.

All jobs A 1 have done for me in St Ives have been completed on time and on budget and the teams have worked around bookings and tenants. I cannot recommend A 1 for both maintenance and larger one off work.
