A1 complete builders have been asked by our long standing clients to renovate another property similar specification to Mott house.
Completely ripping out and then renovating to a high standard throughout.
Full Electrical and plumbing installation. All walls either lined with Wedi board and stone walls. Lime plastered using St-Astiets 3.5 with C.L.S sand.
A1 Complete Builders Ltd was instructed to undertake a small restoration project for our clients on a converted chapel.
The work scope involved removing cement render from the rear elevation and put back in lime render restoring to its former glory using St-Astiers 3.5 N.H.L Lime mix.
A1 complete builders received an instruction to build a first floor bedroom extension and construct two dormers in the main farm house.
Scope of works was to remove an existing Delabole slate roof and set aside. Shutter and pour a reinforced ring beam around the perimeter. Build a timber frame first floor bedroom finished with powder coated aluminium windows and Ceder cladding class B. Fit internal stair case and tongue and groove timber to vaulted ceiling. Dormers constructed with steel A frames and timber frame with Ceder cladding finish to the external with aluminium windows.

Extensive work is underway to create a more contemporary look to the property that sits on the edge of Clift Road, a prime spot over looking the beach front. Work to include a complete rewire and a complete new heating system. New balcony and glass balustrade. New kitchen and bathrooms.

A1 have been instructed to undertake renovation works on Polsue Cottage at Point near Devoran. Removal of sand and cement from cob walls and re-plaster using the correct material (lime plaster)

A very spacious site make working much easier than some of our less spacious sites in the past. A new two bedroom bungalow being built close to the sea just adds to this prime location in this popular village. The ground conditions are unfortunately not suitable to have the normal concrete foundation and therefore piling is required. These piles will be drilled around 10 meters in to bedrock and in total 17 piles will be placed around the foot print of the Building.
Carnon Contractors will be responsible for these works and A1 has over all responsibility as principle contractor. A1 Complete Builders will then make steel beam cages on site and fit on top of and around the 17 piles in question. Once the cages are in place we will then pour concrete over to tie the whole structure together in place.

Our clients instructed us to construct a new driveway and build a double garage and log store. The floor is block and beam construction. Supply and fit an Oak Frame to base.
A1 Complete Builders have won a new contract to under take a complete refurbishment of The Old Rectory Grade 11 listed near Lerryn. Our clients have purchased this property and we will be undertaking extensive works to include new in period features and restoration work.
Work includes upgrading the walls and improving the 'U Value' by using a woodwool board on top of fixed batons. Mesh is then embedded onto the lightweight board followed by a layer of lightweight cornerstone insulating plaster. The top coat is applied using a layer of CLM 66.
Four new bathrooms/en-suites will also be undertaken, A new hand made kitchen will be installed. Plumbing undertaken by Ollies Plumbing and heating. Electrics by York Electrics.
